Cognitive Psychological First Aid (For Schools and Communities)

Learning Objectives :

This workshop will train young people to treat victims of psychological shock on site or within the first critical 72 hours.

About the presenter :

Dov Benyaacov-Kurtzman RSW (ISR) BA (Government and Terror). LLB (Law). BSW (Social Work). PgDip Psychiatry (Distinction), a Clinical Social Worker and therapist, who runs and founded the British charity Heads UP CIO – Emergency Cognitive Psychological First Aid Response Unit, founder of the FACT – UK National Psychotrauma Training School and Author of the book “Mind Over Terror” due to be published later this year.

Learning Objectives :
This workshop is aimed at general public from 16 years and older.
Following the training there is an opportunity to volunteer for the HeadsUp CIO – young people’s division and train to become part of the response unit when they are 18 years old.
